Foundation
The Foundation Level Violin Course is your gateway to learning one of the most expressive and beloved instruments in the world. Designed for absolute beginners of all ages, this course focuses on building the essential skills needed to play the violin with confidence, joy, and a clear understanding of fundamental technique.

Beginner
The Beginner Level Violin Course is your next step in learning the violin after acquiring a foundational understanding of posture, bowing, and basic note reading. This course is designed for students who can already produce a clear sound on open strings and are ready to begin using finger patterns, playing with both left and right hand coordination, and reading simple melodies.
Whether you're a young learner continuing after your first lessons or an adult picking up the violin with dedication, this course helps you build the core skills necessary to become a confident and independent violinist.
At this stage, students begin using more complex finger patterns, playing across strings, and learning how to create a more expressive sound. The course provides structured technical exercises, simple yet rewarding repertoire, and a clear introduction to the essential elements of music theory and aural skills.
Students will work on developing their tone, timing, intonation, and musical understanding—preparing them to play recognisable tunes and eventually move into graded or intermediate-level studies.

The Intermediate Level builds on the foundation of correct posture, intonation, and music reading by introducing more complex bowing styles, shifting positions, and expressive techniques. Students will begin to play full-length pieces from different musical eras while deepening their understanding of musical interpretation, theory, and performance readiness.
