Our Story
The Indian School of Music was born out of a shared dream—to make the timeless beauty of Indian music accessible to every passionate learner, no matter where they are in the world.
Our founders, a group of dedicated musicians and educators, saw a growing need: aspiring students across the globe longed to learn Indian music but lacked access to authentic instruction and structured learning. Traditional guru-shishya wisdom was slowly becoming harder to reach, especially outside India.
What started as a small initiative to connect a few students with qualified teachers soon evolved into a full-fledged online academy. With the help of technology and a growing network of experienced gurus, we began offering live, interactive music classes that honored tradition while embracing modern methods.
Today, the Indian School of Music is a thriving online community of learners, teachers, and artists united by a love for Indian music. From classical ragas to devotional bhajans, from beginner basics to advanced performance training—we are proud to guide students on their musical journeys with authenticity, care, and passion.
