Carnatic Classical Learning Levels
Carnatic classical music education typically progresses through a structured curriculum, starting with foundational exercises like Sarali Varisai and Janta Varisai, then moving to more complex concepts like Geethams, Swarajathis, Varnams, and finally, Krithis and advanced improvisational techniques. These levels build upon each other, gradually increasing the complexity and depth of understanding of Carnatic music.
